Where we start
Small by design
We start small: with muslin for babies and the home, made from materials whose origin we can document. No superlative replaces a number, so we state weight, wash temperature and certification tier.
For us, design means restraint. Few things, well made, made to last. What we cannot yet prove, we label openly as a placeholder, on this page too.
Why we started
Too little gets said about fabric
Most claims about baby textiles stop at "soft" and "natural", words that mean everything and nothing. Tamar Lebensstil started from the conviction that parents deserve more than adjectives: a weight in g/m², a weave, a wash temperature, a testing standard. Things you can check.
Berlin is where we're based, not just on paper. From here we choose partner mills, review certificates, and decide what goes on this site and what stays marked as a placeholder until it's documented.

Who's behind it
A small team, a clear mandate
Tamar Lebensstil UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i. G. is run by a group of solution-oriented engineers and managers who understand quality, price and scope. Entry into the commercial register (HRB) is in process, and we say so plainly rather than hide it, the same way we flag every other placeholder on this page.
What's next
Starting with muslin
Our first collection, including wraps, swaddles and blankets, is in the works and open for the waitlist on the Collections page. In parallel, we're registering our own brand, and we'll introduce it on the Brands page once that's complete.
